There are many layers to the enjoyment of this book. There's humor, there's heat, there's comfortable companionship, cameo appearances from past characters, and there's hints of what to look forward to. It works as a standalone read, but I would still recommend reading Mia's Submission first.Brooke first meets Mia and their initial conversation, as well as several that follow, is hilarious. Their fast friendship is very endearing and I loved that the character that introduced us to SRE had such a role in the story; I hope that continues! Asher doesn't really make an appearance, but he is mentioned and pulls some strings behind the scenes.
Brooke is very relatable, but Ty is just smooth, sexy, and completely delicious. He gives her a command one night that was so hot I think any woman would have trouble not complying with! Jackson is sexy, but there are a couple moments where he comes off a bit asinine, so I'm interested to see more of him later to get a better idea of who he is.
While I thoroughly enjoyed it, I will say that I don't think it was quite on par with the first book. I like the connection among all the characters, but I just wanted more from it. I think it was a little too short would have appreciated a little more buildup of the connection between Ty and Brooke, or at least more of it shown. I also really wanted to see more from the aftermath of their night with Jackson, but I expect we'll hear about that in the next one!
Filled with sexual tension, Brooke's Wish is very hot and leads you to think on what some of your deep dark fantasies are. Emotional right along with heated, it's a thoroughly enjoyable read.

With starting a surgical practice and the recent dumping of her free-loading ex-boyfriend, Brooke Allaire needs a vacation. She is tricked into a weekend at a high-end BDSM club in New York City by her surgical practice partner, Pamela. A little skittish, Brooke is ready to leave until she is convinced to stay and ends up having dinner with a very sexy Ty Venice. After meeting Ty's partner in crime, Jackson, at dinner; Brooke boldly asks the two to fulfill a threesome fantasy.
Jackson and Ty share women all the time, however, this time it's different. Ty has become a little possessive of Brooke and wants her for himself. All three share a night of limits and sexual gratification that leaves Brooke wanting...Ty.
I have mixed feelings about this book. Brooke didn't want any part of the whole BDSM scene until someone, who works for the club, convinced her to try it. When Brooke met Ty and Jackson, she only wanted Ty but went along with the threesome anyway because that was the only way she could get Ty. Ty was very jealous of Jackson being part of the fantasy but he still allowed Jackson to be there. I didn't like how the characters felt they had to go along with things instead of taking a stand and saying what they wanted, and didn't want.
I'm an old-fashioned one woman/one man type relationship so this book wasn't my cup of tea. That being said, the book was well-written and is a good choice for readers who enjoy ménage and the BDSM genre.

This is the second book of the Satin Rose Experience series and (I have to mention) it was so well written it can be read as a stand-alone. I do however recommend reading book 1, it was another hot one! Brooke's Wish is a very sensual, awakening and romantic read that will leave any erotic romance reader wanting so much more )
Brooke accepts a gift from her best friend. One that promises a great experience that will allow her the escape from everyday life that she craves and needs, especially being a doctor with its everyday stresses and the fact she just got out of a going nowhere relationship. Going in to SRE thinking she'll be getting daily massages, facials and the like only to find out that the form of relaxation SRE has to offer is something she's never experienced or thought of, she caves in and gives it a try and WOW does she get some superb treatment. Treatment that she'll never forget, starting in the form of a fantasy she was not even aware she had and all with the delicious hunk of a man Ty.
Ty is a partner of SRE, among other things. He's trained and been with many subs, mostly with the assistance of his good friend Jackson and all without the desire to hold onto the female in a relationship sense. From the moment he meets Brooke he wants her, but these feelings she brings forth are new to him and he's unsure how to deal. His first priority is to give Brooke her fantasy, one she'll never forget.
Brooke's Wish has a great sexual build, fun and a hot M/F/M scene that brings feelings even further to the surface. If there was really an SRE out there, I'd visit with no hesitation, oh yeah! I look forward to what Sandra has in store for us next ;)

Mia, VP of SRE, convinces her to stay on. Ty, the sexy gentleman who helped with her luggage, unexpectedly gets paired up with her for dinner and convinces her, along with some help from a friend of his, to fulfill her fantasy while she is there.
SRE proves once again that fantasies can come true and bring out the fire extinguishers! There are some serious smoking hot sex scenes! Definite 5 stars!!!
